For girls, there is no absolute good or bad quality in gym fitness. It all depends on whether your fitness demands, time schedule and daily habits can match its advantages and disadvantages.
I have a girl who has been a personal trainer for a year. She used to be troubled by the problem of holding her breasts and hunching her back. She couldn't find a sense of strength when opening her shoulders while watching videos at home. She went to the gym to take ten posture adjustment classes. Now she is taller and taller than once. Last week, she wore a backless dress to attend a wedding. Many people asked her if she had done any projects secretly. Now she exercises her butt and legs directly on the Smith frame and adds weights, which is much more efficient than relying on elastic bands at home. She said that everyone in the gym is busy practicing their own exercises, and no one will notice whether your movements are standard. When you are tired, you can chat with the partner next to you on the same frequency, which is much more interesting than practicing alone at home.
But I also met a friend who only went to the gym 5 times after applying for an annual membership. Her home was three bus stops away from the gym, and it took more than 20 minutes to get there during the evening rush hour after get off work. She finally got there and had to wait for the elliptical machine. She queued for ten minutes and had not practiced for long before personal trainers came around to sell courses. She was already exhausted at work, but all her interest in exercising was lost. In the end, no one wanted the card at half price. There was also a little girl who was afraid of social problems who complained to me. The first time I went to the gym, I didn’t even dare to ask how to adjust the equipment.
In fact, many people are confused about "will you get stronger by practicing in the gym?" is simply a false proposition. The testosterone level of girls is only about one-twentieth of boys. Without deliberate heavy weight overload training and protein supplementation, it is impossible to build exaggerated muscle mass. On the contrary, proper strength training can help you tighten your lines and improve problems such as fat and fake hip width that are difficult to adjust at home. If you have average self-discipline, need weight-bearing equipment for targeted training, and like atmospheric exercise scenes, the gym is indeed a good choice. ; But if you are short on time, have social anxiety, and usually prefer light exercise such as yoga and Pilates, there is no need to force yourself to go to the gym. The exercise method that you can stick to is the most suitable for you.
